Highways Maintenance & Civils – this is used for highways maintenance contracts, and also capital works to highways, bridges and other civil engineering schemes. Public Transport – costs associated with the operation of concessionary fares travel use this category. These are the sorts of buses and coaches that are timetabled and the general public can choose to travel on.

Logistics, Transport & Storage – this is used for removals companies, haulage companies and storage costs.

Airport Services – most airports have an operation company and this category is used for invoices from those companies.

Ports and Shipping – expenditure relating to the operation and maintenance of harbours are categorised with this, as are chartered shipping services.

Rail Infrastructure – this is used for expenditure relating to the creation and maintenance of rail networks.

Rail Services – this is used for expenditure associated with the operation of rail services.
